First of the End game instances....

Karazhan Is a ten (10) man Instance. Ideal group... 1 Tank 1 Off Tank 3 Healers and 5 Dps.

Between Duskwood and the Swamp of Sorrows lies the desolate region of Deadwind Pass, where jagged, brooding spires of granite loom over petrified, lifeless forests. As its name suggests, it is a land devoid of life.

But it was not always so...

Medivh, the Last Guardian, made his home in Deadwind, in the bright tower of Karazhan. Though he was the greatest wizard of his day (and humanity's intended custodian) Medivh was secretly possessed by the dark spirit of Sargeras, the Destroyer of Worlds. Through Medivh, Sargeras opened the Dark Portal and allowed the orcs to wage war upon the mortal kingdoms of Azeroth.

As the war progressed, Medivh fought against Sargeras' control. The raging conflict within him finally drove the wizard irrevocably insane. His childhood friend and the king's lieutenant-at-arms, Anduin Lothar, suspected the mage of treachery. With the aid of Medivh's young apprentice, Khadgar, Lothar stormed Karazhan and killed his one-time comrade. Since that day, a terrible curse has pervaded both the tower and the lands around it - casting a dark pall over Deadwind Pass and the region that is now known as Duskwood.

In recent years, nobles of Darkshire ventured into Deadwind Pass to investigate the blight that had settled over the region. They entered the dark tower – but never emerged. In fact, witnesses maintain that the dread spirits of the nobles now reside within Karazhan's walls, cursed to revel in the tower's crumbling opera house for eternity. Yet far more perilous spirits reside within Medivh's macabre study, for it was there that demonic entities responded to the deranged wizard's summons.

Despite the myriad terrors that lie within, adventurers are still drawn to Karazhan-tempted by rumors of unspeakable secrets that may be found within the tower’s arcane libraries. It is said that the vast, magical halls house the powerful spellbooks of Medivh himself.

Only one thing is certain when visiting the dreaded tower of Karazhan….
…you may never find your way out.

Quest in a nut shell…

You head down to karazhan and pick up a couple quests that need to be done outside of Karazhan. Than you are told to head to Dalaran which is located in between Hillsbrad foothills and Alterac Mountains. Than you need to see Khadgar in the center of Shattrath City. He will tell you to get the first Key fragment which is located at the end of Shadow Labyrinth at Auchindoun in Terokkar Forest. Second is in Steamvaults near first boss. Third is in Arcatrz after first boss. Than you will have the Master’s Key to get into Karazhan. However, In retail I believe you don’t need the quest anymore.

All this is pretty basic stuff I am posting. I am not going in full detail of the fight or anything mainly because we have no scripts but please no where stuff is located and which bosses are where.

Gruul's Lair Is your next stop to end game. This is a 25 man instance. Located in Northern Blade's Edge Mountains

A basic 25 man setup should work. So long as you have 3 Warriors and 8 or 9 healer type classes you should be fine.

High King Maulgar and his 4 Adds

High King Maulgar (warrior)

Krosh Firehand (mage)

Olm the Summoner (warlock)

Blindeye the Seer (priest)

Kiggler the Crazed (shaman)

Kill Order
Priest, then Warlock, then Mage, then Shaman, and finally Maulgar.

Next Gruul the Dragonkiller

Introduction

Gruul the Dragonkiller is the second boss encounter in Gruul's Lair, the entry-level 25-man dungeon in The Burning Crusade. No key or attunement is necessary to enter the lair. Killing Gruul is part of the attunement quest to Serpentshrine Cavern, the 25 man raid zone in Coilfang Reservoir. This quest can be picked up from Skar'this the Heretic in the "heroic mode" Slave Pens of Coilfang Reservoir. FYI: No Atunement is needed now.

After Gruul's Lair

Magtheridon's Lair 25-man Instance

Hellfire Citadel is the headquarters of the Fel Orcs of Outland, a nearly impenetrable bastion that once served as the base of operations for the orcs throughout the First and Second Wars. Kargath Bladefist and his Fel orcs now make their home in the citadel.

Magtheridon's Lair is a raid wing of the Hellfire Citadel dungeon in Hellfire Peninsula, Outland. You can find the entrance to Magtheridon's Lair on the very bottom of the western side of the Citadel (opposite side from the other 3 entrances). It is a quick raid encounter (like Onyxia's Lair, which contains four "guard mobs" before the boss encounter, Onyxia).

Mount Hyjal and Illidan's Gift

The few night elves that survived the horrific explosion rallied together on crudely made rafts and slowly made their way to the only landmass in sight. Somehow, by the grace of Elune, Malfurion, Tyrande, and Cenarius had survived the Great Sundering. The weary heroes agreed to lead their fellow survivors and establish a new home for their people.

As they journeyed in silence, they surveyed the wreckage of their world and realized that their passions had wrought the destruction all around them. Though Sargeras and his Legion had been ripped from the world by the Well's destruction, Malfurion and his companions were left to ponder the terrible cost of victory.

There were many Highborne who did survive the cataclysm unscathed. They made their way to the shores of the new land along with the other night elves. Though Malfurion mistrusted the Highborne's motivations, he was satisfied that they could cause no real mischief without the Well's energies.

As the weary mass of night elves landed upon the shores of the new land, they found that the holy mountain, Hyjal, had survived the catastrophe. Seeking to establish a new home for themselves, Malfurion and the night elves climbed the slopes of Hyjal and reached its windswept summit. As they descended into the wooded bowl, nestled between the mountain's enormous peaks, they found a small, tranquil lake. To their horror, they found that the lake's waters had been fouled by magic.

Illidan, having survived the Sundering as well, had reached Hyjal summit long before Malfurion and the night elves. In his mad bid to maintain the flows of magic in the world, Illidan had poured his vials, which contained the precious waters from the Well of Eternity, into the mountain lake.

The Well's potent energies quickly ignited and coalesced into a new Well of Eternity. The exultant Illidan, believing that the new Well was a gift to future generations, was shocked when Malfurion hunted him down. Malfurion explained to his brother that magic was innately chaotic and that its use would inevitably lead to widespread corruption and strife. Still, Illidan refused to relinquish his magical powers.

Knowing full well where Illidan's ruthless schemes would eventually lead, Malfurion decided to deal with his power-crazed brother once and for all. With Cenarius' help, Malfurion sealed Illidan within a vast underground barrow prison, where he would remain chained and powerless until the end of time. To ensure his brother's containment, Malfurion empowered the young warden, Maiev Shadowsong, to be Illidan's personal jailor.

Concerned that destroying the new Well might bring about an even greater catastrophe, the night elves resolved to leave it be. However, Malfurion declared that they would never practice the arts of magic again. Under Cenarius' watchful eye, they began to study the ancient arts of druidism that would enable them to heal the ravaged earth and re-grow their beloved forests at the base of Mount Hyjal.

YES HYJAL is NEXT

Hyjal is the site of Nordrassil, the first World Tree created from an acorn of G'Hanir, the Mother Tree. The area, a region of northern Kalimdor, located south-west of Winterspring, east of Felwood, north-east of Ashenvale, and north-west of Azshara, was devastated in the battle of Mount Hyjal, but is slowly recovering. That legendary battle was fought six years ago, and heroes are now given a chance to relive that major event in Warcraft history as a 25-man raid instance accessible through the Caverns of Time.

The battle of Mount Hyjal takes place at the denouement of Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, the seventh chapter of the Night Elf campaign, Twilight of the Gods. Archimonde advances the mountain just as he will in the raid instance, along with his lieutenants, Kaz'rogal the Doom Lord, Azgalor the Pit Lord, Rage Winterchill the Lich, and Anetheron the Dreadlord. Kaz'rogal is not present in the Warcraft III campaign mission.

History

After being guided to Kalimdor by Medivh, the Horde forces led by Thrall and the Alliance forces led by Jaina Proudmoore had come into conflict with each other and with the night elves of Ashenvale, led by Malfurion Stormrage and Tyrande Whisperwind. Acting as a peace broker, Medivh was able to unite the warring factions to defend the World Tree, Nordrassil, from the Legion's assault.

Although unable to stop Archimonde's ascent to the summit of Hyjal, the three armies were able to delay him long enough for Malfurion Stormrage to put his plan into effect. Empowered by the very strength of the world, Malfurion succeeded in unleashing Nordrassil's primal fury, utterly destroying Archimonde and severing the Legion's anchor to the Well of Eternity. Unable to draw power from the Well itself, the Burning Legion crumbled under the combined might of the mortal armies.

Hyjal Summit Boss List

Rage Winterchill
was a Lich employed by the Burning Legion during the Battle of Mount Hyjal. He possessed powers surpassing most other liches. He is the first boss of Hyjal Summit.

Anetheron
a cunning and horrifically powerful dreadlord, is the second boss of Hyjal Summit.

Kaz'rogal
a doomguard, is the third boss of Hyjal Summit. It is a significant fight for your damage dealers due to his abilities eventually causing all the healers to die.

Azgalor = (T6 Gloves)
was once the lieutenant to the mighty demon-king Mannoroth. Following Mannoroth's death at the hands of the orc Grom Hellscream, Azgalor took it upon himself to direct the Burning Legion's ground forces at the Battle of Mount Hyjal. He is the fourth boss in Hyjal Summit.

Archimonde = (T6 Helm)
the Defiler was the left hand of the fallen titan, Sargeras. Archimonde was one of the greatest and darkest of the Eredar. His ruthless and cunning personality quickly earned him station and power within the Eredar ranks, until finally he was one of the first among them. He is the fifth and final boss in Hyjal Summit.

Black Temple

Having changed hands many times over the generations, the Black Temple is now the fortress-citadel of Illidan Stormrage, Lord of Outland. The non-linear 25-man raid dungeon in Shadowmoon Valley contains more than a hundred epic quality items.

History

Long before the creation of the Horde, the Black Temple was once the Temple of Karabor, a sacred site for the draenei, which also served as a refuge for the draenei prophet Velen. Shortly after the formation of the Horde, Gul'dan ordered the temple conquered, who then transformed it into the headquarters for the Shadow Council. The temple was then renamed the Black Temple. During the Second War and Gul'dan's absence from the temple, it was used by the then-mortal Ner'zhul as his fortress.

Some time after the destruction of Draenor, the Temple was possessed by the Burning Legion. It came to be named the Black Citadel during this time period, ruled over by the powerful pit lord, Magtheridon. The temple was used as a prime staging ground for the Burning Legion's campaign of destruction. During the Third War, Illidan Stormrage, during his conquest of Outland, took the Black Temple for his own.

Following his defeat at the hands of Arthas, Illidan returned to the Black Temple, where he currently resides. Neither his activities nor his mental state are certain at this time

Black Temple Boss List

High Warlord Naj'entus, a naga, is the first boss of Black Temple.

Supremus, an abyssal, is the second boss in Black Temple.

Shade of Akama is the dark soul of Akama that binds him to Illidan Stormrage's service. This is the third boss in the Black Temple.

Teron Gorefiend, formally the leader of the death knights, is the fourth boss in Black Temple. It is somewhat of a damage race as more damage is done to the raid as time goes by so healers won't be able to keep up with the damage done to the raid after a while.

Gurtogg Bloodboil, a mutated fel orc, is the fifth boss in Black Temple.

Reliquary of Souls
Essence of Suffering is the first phase boss of the Reliquary of Souls encounter in Black Temple
Essence of Desire is the second phase boss of the Reliquary of Souls encounter in Black Temple. It is a damage race due to mana users eventually running out of mana due to the encounter aura ability
Essence of Anger is the third phase boss of the Reliquary of Souls encounter in Black Temple. It is a damage race.

Mother Shahraz, a Shivarra demon, is the seventh boss in Black Temple. (T6 Shoulder Token)

The Illidari Council is a group of four blood elves located within the Black Temple who serve as adviser to the self-proclaimed Lord of Outland, Illidan Stormrage. They are the last bosses fought before encountering the Betrayer himself. Similiar to the Qiraji twin emperors Vek'nilash and Vek'lor, the Council has shared health that must be depleted. (T6 Leg Token)

Gathios the Shatterer, a blood elf paladin, is one of the bosses of the Illidari Council encounter in Black Temple
High Nethermancer Zerevor, an arcane mage, is one of the bosses for the Illidari Council encounter in Black Temple
Lady Malande, a blood elf Holy priest, is one of the bosses for the Illidari Council encounter in Black Temple.
Veras Darkshadow, a blood elf rogue, is one of the bosses for the Illidari Council encounter in Black Temple.

Illidan Stormrage, known as the Betrayer, is the current Lord of Outland, ruling from the Black Temple. He was born as a night elf, and as stated by Maiev Shadowsong, is now "neither demon nor night elf, but something more". He is the twin brother of Malfurion Stormrage, and was (perhaps still is) in love with Tyrande Whisperwind. Once an unusually gifted Sorcerer, his exact powers today are difficult to classify.

His pursuit of power and arcane mastery has led him to commit a number of horrific acts against his own people and the races of Azeroth, including defecting to Sargeras during the War of the Ancients and creating the second Well of Eternity. For his actions, he was imprisoned for ten thousand years, until his release almost a decade ago.

He has come to be called the Betrayer for his acts against the night elf people and now also carries the title of Lord of Outland. (T6 Chest Token)
